BREAKING NEWS!!! POPULAR NIGERIAN ARTIST PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED BY DMV PROMOTER

Popular Nigerian artist, MC Galaxy, known for his hit songs “Nek Unek” featuring Davido, and Sekem was physically assualted by DMV ( Washington, DC) Promoter T-Spotlite of Spotlite Entertainment. MC Galaxy was set to appear at a nightclub in the DMV. When MC Galaxy arrived he immediately entered the club to find a measely 40 people in the venue. Sources say that the event was poorly promoted and most individuals were not even aware that MC Galaxy was in the state or more people would have come out. At approximitely 2:53 AM, sources say that MC Galaxy had waited for hours to perform and decided that it was best for him to leave since the event was ending at 3:00 AM, and he had not yet been paid. When this was brought to DMV Promoter T-Spotlite’s attention he became infuriated, despite this being the result of  his own events disorganization. T-Spotlite viciously grabbed  and threw MC Galaxy from his car and proceeded to punch and attack him multiple times, as well as breaking his Versace belt and jewlery, until police were forced to break up the incident. Police also had to escort MC Galaxy from the premises because T-Spotlite threatened to finish him off at his hotel. MC Galaxy is said to be in okay condition. It is yet to be confirmed if MC Galaxy will be pressing charges against this promoter yet. We wish MC a speedy recovery!

UPDATE: Videos are said to be have filmed. Still awaiting footage.

Don’t email her that video it’s bad press for our brother Chick who also promoted the event . It’s unfortunate that someone who he did business with behaved so unprofessionally, but I would hate for him to suffer for it.

Pure B.S. If you want to report the facts, report them honestly without bias. The problem is all those groupies that jump around and try to sleep wth any artist that set foot in the DMV. Why would T pays and artist deposit, fly in him, book a hotel and he ends up at a different club, Shadow Room, at the time he suppose to be at Station 1 performing. MC Galaxy did not showed up at station before at least 1:30am. The problem was not the number of people in the venue, yes it was slow but not the first time a slow show has taken place in the DMV. We have a serious problem as Africans, we do not know how to be professional. This problem is not MC Galaxy alone. Davido, Arafat, P Square, you name it…. None of these guys never come to the venue whne they suppose to. They are all too busy running the street or entertaining the groupies in their hotel room. Think about it, what was MC Galaxy doing at shadow room last night when he was suppose to be at Station 1 performing. Let’s be real… don’t support that none sense.

Except those aren’t the facts. T Spotlite did not pay for MC Galaxy’s flight(he did) nd he didn’t get his visa into the country, NEA Awards did. T-spotlite couldn’t even pay his expenses to enter into the state. They booked him a hotel yes.. but he never stayed in it and actually had to book another hotel because spotlite threatened to continue beating him. spotlite is a joke and unprofessional.. every1 knows about his scamming ways.. how he made a fake flyer saying he was bringing basketmouth, olamide, and osufia, how he brought davido and oversold tickets knowing ppl wouldn’t enter.. how he booked artist in philly and then left them stranded and forced them to pay to enter.. the nigga is a scam. the artist never went to another location and the other promoters can testify to this. mc galaxy was late because tspotlite pickd him up late. he’s unorganized and unprofessional. and all his SL groupies need to have several seats.. sleeping with promoters so they can sleep with artist and enter parties for free. we know *sips tea*

For all those concerts that were bad how many were actually legit. Africans and your crab in a barrel mentality. Always remembering the bad someone has done and not the latter. I have enjoyed numerous concerts put on by SPOTLIGHT so I’m unsure of why noone is mentioning them on this platform.

MC Galaxy was wrong, he should have showed up on time for his show because hundreds of people were patiently waiting for him.
