The HKN camp appears to feel some type of way about Meek Mill. The entire crew has been subbing and retweeting subs left and right about Meek Mill.
This is quite ironic, considering that prior to the collabo and even after the collabo dropped, Davido was praising Meek Mill.
Well this apparently went sour when Meek Mill did not even acknowledge the collaboration publicly, not even with a retweet.
What we want to know is, what went wrong in the Davido & Meek Mill deal? Did they overpay Meek Mill and not get what they paid for? Where they jipped of their investment? Did they not follow U.S. music industry protocol and laws? Something clearly went wrong.
Drake made a single with Wizkid and promoted it. Fetty Wap made a collaboration with Ayo Jay and once again, promoted it. So why was Davido different? Something went sour on Davido’s side for sure.
Davido also is still very hurt about it, tweeting: ” Karma is a b*tch”.
The thing about international artist starting beef from overseas, is that they are instantly blackballing themselves in the American market. Which is dangerous considering they have not made a single dime from their soundcloud collaborations.
Many of these artist honestly have gained nothing from their international collaborations. Instead many of the African artist have spent from $20,000 to $300,000 USD just to get 8 bars from these artist, and not see a single form of currency in return, beside instagram likes and retweets. But that’s a post for another day.
