Former Pussycat Dolls member @KayaJones Says Detained Immigrant Children Look like MS-13 Soldiers

Kaya Jones, a former member of the Pussycat Dolls, is no stranger to sharing her opinion on social media. However, one of her most recent tweets drew a bit of backlash after she wrote that detained immigrant children looked like members of the violent gang MS-13.

“These look like soldiers to me MS13 soldiers. But the left will have you believe they are babies being ripped from their mothers arms. Babies don’t have facial hair!” she whined.

The photo was initially taken by attorney Michael Avenatti at the McAllen, Texas, airport. The seven boys were being transported away from their parents.

Jones stated that “babies don’t have facial hair,” even though none of the boys in the photo she posted have facial hair. Many on Twitter found her remarks to be deeply rooted in racist ideology.

Members of MS-13, which originated in Los Angeles, are often characterized by their numerous body and face tattoos.

The Canadian-American singer also tweeted that the boys in the photo were perhaps attempting to hide their tattoos with their sweatshirts.
