Game Of Thrones Breaks Viewership Record Setting Numbers For HBO

After the season 7’s premiere of HBO’s Game Of Thrones on Sunday, the show has record-breaking numbers for the network. It’s been a year since the show came back from its long hiatus and the first episode of the season “Dragonstone” became the most watched show that has ever debuted in HBO history.

On Sunday, a ground-breaking 10.1 million viewers sat down to watch the premiere of the hit show. This viewership beat the show’s previous record of 8.89 million from the season 6 finale episode “The Winds of Winter”. The “Dragonstone” episode was directed by Jeremy Podswa who started the new season off with a bang! Hopefully, the viewership will continue to rise since this is the last season of the Game of Throne series.
