That Lipstick is Too Bright For You

As a dark skin female I have come across many people who tell me something is too bright for me. From clothing to lipsticks I’ve heard it all. I use to actually believe other people and avoid wearing bright colors. God forbid my mother bought me a neon colored shirt while I was growing up; I would wear my jacket all throughout the school day. When I was about 15 I realized it was all pure stupidity. There is no color too bright or dark for anyone, no matter your complexion, to wear. There are however colors that suit certain skin tones more than others. When I was 17 I fell into an obsession with lipsticks (a phase I’m still in). Over the last few years I’ve retained (I’ve lost so many) about 130+ lipsticks ranging in all  colors. Here are a few pics with my favorite lip combos that will suit women of color! Many people ask me how I wear certain colors, well here you have it!
