Although track champion Usain Bolt is known as one of the world’s fastest man, he came in third place in the 100-meter dash at the World Track and Field Championships held in London. This is his final ever individual race of his career (so he says anyway)!
Usain Bolt received a bronze medal and finished the race in 9.95 seconds; second place winner with a silver medal went to American Christian Coleman with 9.94 seconds and the gold medalist Justin Gatlin won with a time of 9.92 seconds. This was definitely a huge farewell disappointment for Bolt fans everywhere since he has been the face of track and field for almost a decade by breaking records in both the 100m and 200m races. Regardless of this last race, Bolt will definitely go down as one of the greatest Olympian to have ever lived.
