Fear has gripped the hearts of many minorities in the U.S as disturbing footage of an Atlanta cop surfaced the internet.

A Cobb County police officer Lt. Greg Abbott is under investigation after he was seen on tape telling a woman “Remember, we only kill black people. We only kill black people, right?”

According to Channel 2 Action News, Cobb County Police Chief, Mike Register said Abbott has been assigned administrative duties pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Register said the recording was part of a DUI stop and the woman said she was hesitant because she didn’t want to get shot.

That was when Abbott made the statement.
