Pop-star and fashion icon Rihanna was recently spotted in a school in Lilongwe, Malawi Thursday. As the Global Ambassador for Education duties, she paid a visit to Malawi to meet with educators, government officials, and school children to promote access to education for children.
The 28-year-old toured the classrooms and met with the students during her charity trip. Lately she has been showcasing her philanthropic side as she also recently participated in the Women’s March on Washington DC.

In May last year, the Barbadian-born singer launched the Clara Lionel Foundation’s Global Scholarship Program, dedicated to giving people in nations such as Cuba, Haiti and her home country, Barbados, the chance to study at universities in the United States.
‘Giving back is important to me and it should be important to everyone,’ she said at her annual Diamond Ball Gala benefit in 2015.
‘If you have the ability to help and lend a hand, no matter how big or small, you should definitely make that your responsibility.’
